These tasks generally include: general animal care; surgical assistance; medical treatments; laboratory tests, x-rays; anesthesia;

Platt College lanched its 兽医技术 Program in July 2011, with a scheduled graduation date of January 2013. The College has received AVMA accreditation for its program. AVMA accreditation requires a site visit to the College to take place after the initial cohort of students begins its clinical rotations (scheduled for July 2012). With AVMA approval, graduates will be eligible to sit for the California Veterinary Medical Board Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) Examination.

What I liked best about attending Platt was the small class sizes. The instructors are able to give each student the attention needed to succeed. Every instructor I had at Platt was helpful and very understanding about the demands put on students in accelerated classes. I enjoyed attending Platt.
